Sunday, 2nd September saw teams of volunteers make their way to the Yad Aharon & Michael Bayit to help pack the dry goods hampers for Rosh Hashannah. 550 families receive these dry goods hampers over Rosh Hashannah and look forward to this distribution every year. The hampers include items like milk, cooking oil, tuna, tinned fruit, tomato sauce and much more! The packing was arranged and organised by Eric Cotton who made sure that everything ran smoothly and efficiently throughout the morning. Music was played and the atmosphere was truly inspiring. The volunteers ranged in age from as young as three years old all the way to sixty three and everyone came with one thing in mind – to make sure that all our hampers were packed with care and were brimming with the true spirit of giving. Yad Aharon & Michael would like to thank everyone who came through to help – we couldn’t have done it without you!
